s were detained in jails of different countries from 2005 till 2015. This was revealed in a report issued by Labou
r Migration from Pakistan 2015.
The report showed that around 5,171 migrant workers are detained in jail in Abu Dhabi, 400 in Baghdad, 336 in Doha, 1,621 in Jeddah, 2, 927 in Kuwait, 1,655 in Manama, 284 i
n Milan, 2,177 in Muscat, and 57 in Seoul. However there was not even a single one was detained in Dubai.
A total of 932,051 migrant worker
s were stranded in the destination countries without proper documents, and 48,160 ir
regular migrant workers deported back to Pakistan with the support of government funds.
